Background: Mr. Pasternak specializes in several areas of multiemployer Fringe Benefit Fund work. This includes negotiation of health care contracts, review and processing of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders regarding divorced participants whose retirement benefits are at stake, as well as collection work and claims/appeals litigation for the funds.

Education: Mr. Pasternak earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College in 1995 and his Juris Doctorate degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1998.

Professional Affiliations: In addition to the State and Federal Courts of Michigan, Mr. Pasternak is licensed to practice law at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Mr. Pasternak is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP).
